How would you like to babysit our friend's dog Bennie for a week?

Although I am a little older now and surfing instead of skateboarding, I’m still writing songs and playing music, and still love exploring. I was lucky to meet Kelly and now get to explore the city through her love of art and design, while also being able to plan adventures to places like the beaches of Costa Rica or Puerto Rico.  Most of my family and close friends are having kids; my brother has three that I adore and I'm a godfather to Kelly's sister's second son.  A lot of our free time is spent with family and friends, enjoying the company of their little ones.  I look forward to beginning a new chapter in my life by starting a family of my own and parenting a new life who will open up my mind to a whole new world of fun and creativity.  I can’t wait to welcome a child into the big, warm and loving arms of my friends and family.  I’m looking forward to being a Dad.

A new surf board!

About Eric...

I was born in a suburb of Erie, Pennsylvania where I grew up in a quiet, small town until the middle of high school, when I moved with my younger brother and sister to my mom's apartment in Queens, NYC.  I am extremely close with my brother and sister. It was a big change for us moving from such a small place to the big city. But I have grown to love NYC and have lived here ever since, outside of my college stays in upstate NY for undergrad and graduate school where I received a Bachelor of Fine Art and then a Master of Architecture degree.  New York City has been a big part of forming who I am.  My younger days here were spent skateboarding through different neighborhoods, playing shows at various venues (even sang/played at CBGB's), and exploring all the great things this city has to offer. It was a hard transition, but my calm and friendly nature has helped in making great friends and relationships here.  Some of my closest friendships are from this period and I really consider them my extended family.

Hobbies: surfing, singing/playing guitar, writing music, cooking

I'm showing Max, my nephew how to change the strings on the guitar.  I look forward to these kinds of moments with my son or daughter.

I love going upstate to visit my brother and his three kids.  I'm hanging out here with my nieces Lennon and Madden.

About Eric (by Kelly)...

Eric feeding his nephew Max.  As a father I suspect Eric will keep our family laughing and enjoying even the most mundane task.

I love Eric's strengthen of character.  I love his sense of humor and his smile.  His smile fills his eyes with kindness or a joking laughter and still melts my heart.  I also love his loyalty. I've always admired how loyal he is to all his friends.  He takes the time to cultivate true and lasting friendships and is always there to listen or give advice when asked.  I deeply appreciate Eric's calm thoughtfulness, his steadfastness and his love.  He loves me.  I can see it in his actions and feel it every day in all the little things he does for me.  I love that I feel secure, loved, understood and very well cared for by my wonderful husband. I know our child will feel the same love and affection.  I look forward to seeing Eric as a Dad and watching him nurture our son or daughter, ensuring that they grow up to be healthy, confident and successful adults.
